This notice explains what personal data we collect through tfjs.xyz, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

Data we collect

Introduction requests
Your name; your email address or Telegram handle; your role (founder, investor or contributor), if given; the language of the page; and the date and time of your consent.
Correspondence
Messages you send us by email, including attachments.
Recommenders
The name of the person you give as your recommender. We use it only to verify the recommendation and to invite that person to the introduction call. A recommender may ask us to delete their name at any time.

We collect no other personal data. The password field on the home page is checked in your browser and is not transmitted to us. This site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking technologies, and loads no third-party content.

Purposes and legal basis

We process introduction requests and correspondence to respond to you, to arrange an introduction and, where applicable, to consider you for membership. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recommenders' names are processed on the same basis.

We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising or use it to train any system. We do not add anyone to a mailing list unless they ask.

Recipients

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting provider, our email delivery service, our email provider and our video-call provider.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK and the EEA. Such transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Retention

Introduction requests
Two years from our last communication.
Recommenders' names
Twelve months, if no introduction follows.
Correspondence
Two years from our last communication.

Data is deleted at the end of these periods.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, or a copy in a portable format, and you may object to its processing. A request by email is sufficient. No fee is charged and no reason is required.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Personal data is accessible only to the members of our team who handle introductions.

The password field on the home page is not an access control and protects no data. Information sent by email is only as secure as email itself.

Children

This site is intended for founders and investors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of sixteen.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes materially, we update the date at the top. If a change affects data you have already provided, we will notify you directly.
